Account Executive

Orbit Analytics is growing rapidly, and we are seeking an Account Executive to sell Business Analytics solutions. Join this exciting team of elite software sales professionals that are changing the way businesses are gaining insights from their data. This role requires a results-driven, natural self-starter, and an energetic sales professional. The role requires the Account Executive to be based in Atlanta headquarters office with up to 50% travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Work closely with Solution Architects, Partners, Marketing and Inside Sales team and actively identify new opportunities to sell software products sold in your assigned territory
  2. Consistently strive to achieve an aggressive set of goals; set high standards for performance and lead by example.
  3. Work closely with pre-sales team members to effectively execute the sales cycle
  4. Lead all steps of the sales cycle from qualification to closure
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and channel partners

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as an Account Executive in a high-growth B2B software company engaged in selling Business Intelligence solutions and/or Reporting tools. He/she will be a hands-on leader who moves easily from strategic/conceptual to the tactical daily issues and must have a proven track record of achieving or exceeding their assigned sales targets.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 4 years of sales success in a technology focused, business-to-business environment
  • Knowledge of ERP applications (Oracle preferred) and/or Reporting and BI tools
  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate and formally present across all levels of organization, customer base, and outside parties
  • Strong business acumen and ability to think and operate cross functionally
  • High sense of urgency and personal accountability
  • Experience with CRM and Marketing Automation systems (Salesforce.com, Pardot preferred)

Pre-Sales Engineer

This is a dynamic role that requires excellent client engagement and presentation skills. Our pre-sales team lead software presentations with prospective clients, conduct product webinars, and participate in conferences and trade shows. These positions are based out of our corporate headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia.

The ideal candidates would have the following required skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in either Oracle E-Business Suite applications or Business Intelligence applications preferred
  • Experience in pre-sales and/or support roles
  • Knowledge of reporting tools such as Oracle Discoverer, OBIEE, Tableau, Qlik, Actuate would be a significant advantage
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent client engagement and people skills

Business Development Representative

We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales/Business Development Representative interested in breaking into the technology industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.

Role Responsibilities

Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow up and outbound cold calls and emails, and route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure. Work closely with field sales, marketing, and other teams as required.

The ideal candidates would have the following required skills:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent, preferably in related field
  • 1-2 years of inside sales experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Experience with Salesforce and Pardot (or similar) preferred

 

The business development team is based out of our corporate headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia. This is a full time position with a Base Salary + Commission, paid vacation plus holidays and medical/dental coverage. Days and hours are Monday through Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm EST.

You will be paired with our in-house experts and receive comprehensive training to learn our reporting solutions. Upon the completion of training, you will be placed in pre-sales, implementations, or support teams based on your skill set. These positions are based out of our corporate headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia.

The candidates need to have the following skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Accounting (or similar)
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Strong work ethic and aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Knowledge of Financial Accounting software would be a plus
